Yes! I've always loved how my hair has felt after I've gone to the salon. Like, I'm sure it's the products they use, but every time I've gone, it's always just so silky and smooth. Going every 6-7 weeks though is a hassle (yay creative color), and I'm debating just cancelling my next appointment or not continuing to go after my next appointment to give myself a break from the cost and the commitment for a little while (but will definitely return to my salon later because the girl I've been with has been great and the place overall is great).
I haven't had my nails done for my birthday in a while. I think the last time was in 2022 because I remember scheduling the appointment before I went in to get my license renewed, and I remember going to the appointment after work later that week. I normally do them at home (where I am bad with upkeep lol, but it keeps me from biting my nails), but I wanted to treat myself to getting my nails done that year because I hadn't in a while. I normally buy myself a new outfit for the day too and kinda just plan a special little day for myself (usually with my mom) that usually involves some sorta fun activity and dinner.
