Has any relatives left you a large sum of money after their passing? My aunt has, and they're actually fighting over her inheritance and things. It's becoming worse and worse by the day as I'm going through her pictures and albums and recordings. It's the hardest time for me yet that the passing of a loved one is directly affecting me. I don't know when I'll be back on the forums!
Both my parents died in extreamly difficult circumstances during Covid. We left it to their legal representatives to sort out their estate. After around 18 months and literally hundreds of errors I had to officially removed myself as an executor of the process to preserve my sanity.
The last thing you want when someone dies is to have to agonize in anyway over their estate so you have my sympathy.
We have a friend where her mother died and the other siblings that didn't care about her decided to act like they were best friends because those other people weren't on the will.
Sorry to hear this @Naiwen ! I'm not looking forward to fighting people when my parents go.
It's too bad the family members have to be greedy like that & not focus on the fact that a loved one has passed away. It's sickening!
