parking a domain?

i took out hosting and decided to use a free .co.cc and update nameservers. now i want to change to a .com would parking work?.<br /><br />-- 13 Nov 2012, 01:11 --<br /><br />i dont want it to change back to the co.cc once the site is reached. & i want the webmail to be the new .com aswell.

Hello,
Yes, you can park a .com domain but you need to first change the name servers to your host. The .com will work automatically once you park it and it won't redirect to the .co.cc domain if you do it properly.

I also recomend adding a redirect so your users know the new domain.
