What do you think of Password Managers? Do you yourself use them to store the passwords?
I have never used one & wouldn’t know where to begin. What are the pros & cons? What is the fee? Is it worth the safety & security? Or is it just one of those things that is not needed?
If you have multiple devices, a password manager is an easy way to have all of your different passwords available on each device. Definitely comes in handy.
I have a password manager program (it’s an offline program / not connected to the internet). It’s installed on my PC, phone and iPad. I send the encrypted database to all my devices.
I create a unique password for every site I’m on and forum I join, so if one password gets compromised, nobody can do anything with it.
I’ve been burned in the past using the same password everywhere so now I’m more cautious. 🙂
I have never had any reason to use password managers in my whole time using the internet as it's either been the password will store itself as it does now or I would always use a password I knew I would remember rather than changing the password all the time. I guess using a password manager would be good for those who like to use a different password for every site, that would make sense.
