What should people choise? To be patriot of one nation or select to be called citizen of world?

So you think that to love one nation is better than to love all world? And what is Nation for you?

A mixture of both.. I love my country but I also care about other countries. We don't need the neocon "Fuck everyone but us" attitude but we also don't need the "Shut down all countries and form a world government and make everyone the same".

The world has different needs which are best met by different governments. There is no need for global government, nor global governance for that matter.

Yes, and the United States of America. I'd put my life on the line for my nation.

I'd rather not be considered a citizen of the world. Citizens of the world typically assert that America is the cause of all of the ills in the world while failing to acknowledge us as one of the most, if not the most benevolent nation on Earth. While the rest of the world was electing brutal mass murdering dictators during the 20th century (Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, Mussolini I could go on), America was leading the way on industrialization and prospering as a people.

Actually they weren't elected, most seized power.

But regardless, I agree with your point.

Yes, I know this old, but I feel like giving a response....

All four of those men were elected in some form of another. Hitler was elected through the ballot box. The other three (Stalin, Pol Pot, and Mussolini) were elected to power by their own ruling party.

However it wasn't a popular vote that put the latter 3 in power.
Stalin seized power after Lenin died.
Sar lead a Communistic revolt and executed opposition.
Mussolini ousted opposition.

Though all had support of their party (except possibly Stalin), the political party wasn't always the majority.
