I can't pay weekly or monthly rent. I think it would come with loads of pressure. I prefer to pay my rent yearly and get my mind off it at least for 8 months.

Yearly? Goodness. New Zealand only does weekly or fortnightly depending on how people get paid from their jobs etc.

But yearly. I wouldn't even know how to pay that. That's just over $16,000 NZD for mine and my partner's board.

I think cost of renting an apartment is very expensive in your country. That's why it is that way
