PayPal Fees Calculator Pro (by Quiver)

Sneak Preview of what is to come in the PayPal Fees Calculator Pro (which will be on sale for £0.99 on the App Store). Right now, though, I'm having ruddy tax problems. So am waiting on release. The MSDN Live Support Team have a really buggy website right now (trust Microsoft websites to be buggy! LOL!). Anyway, I hope to hear back from them within the next few days. I'll then take it from there. Only after I've sorted the tax issue can I submit the app. Once submitted, it'll still be subjected to certification. So I cannot guarantee (at this stage) that the PayPal Fees Calculator Pro will ever be published. But if it is, then this is what it will look like (Version 1).

What's different in the Pro version?

[*] Ability to calculate currency conversions.
[*] Ability to calculate PayPal merchant rates.
(PayPal have a variety of different rates depending on the amount of money you are sending and what tariff you're on. These rates again vary from country to country so making this new feature took quite some time. But it's now implemented and I hope you like it. 😉 )

PayPal have five merchant tariffs:

[*] PayPal Merchant Rate I
[*] PayPal Merchant Rate II
[*] PayPal Merchant Rate III
[*] PayPal Merchant Rate IV

The PRO version of this calculator allows you to calculate merchant rates not just for the UK but for multiple countries (selectable via the dropdown box). This calculator is designed so you don't have to rip your hair out by using a calculator and calculating the value yourself. Just type in the values and let the PayPal Fees Calculator do the hard work for you. Take note of the disclaimer though. Although I've spent a considerable amount of time researching fees and rates I cannot guarantee 100% accuracy. But I haven't had any complaints so far with the free version. And the PRO version is the same as the free version but with additional features (more additional features are planned for future releases as well...just figuring out how to implement them but I'll keep you posted). 😎

UPDATE:

Just a quick update everyone. You can now download PayPal Fess Calculator Pro from the Windows App Store. Price is £0.99 (or the equivalent of £0.99 for countries outside of the UK). You can still download the free version but if you would like the additional features offered by the PRO version then be sure to purchase the PRO version. Remember, once purchased, updates come free for life. Not only will you enjoy additional features (with more features planned for future releases...I'm just figuring out how to implement those features), but you will also be supporting me, the developer, which is always nice. 🙂 my free version has been downloaded over 2000 times so far. I will only be providing minor updates for the free version now...bug fixes (if any) etc. but no new features are planned for the free version. To keep up to date with all the latest consider downloading the PRO version (legally...not cracking it!). 😉
