If I make a paypal account, is it manditory for the credit card or Debit card activation, or can you skip that?

so, if i dont verify it, I cant purchase online nor can anybody send me money.

That is 100% correct, sorry mate but is just how it is, when I made my paypal account I got a seperate bank account just for paypal, that way if anything happened wont effect rest of my accounts or my main account.

Verifying is easy though. You can do it for a bank account like my friend did. They put like 2 or 4 cents in your account, and you have to specify the amount they put in your account to verify.

I know its easy to verify but since i'm only 15 my parents wont let me use my bank account to verify it nor will they let me use their credit card. 🙁

Life sucks when your not an adult 😛

Ask to use their account, and they only have to check a bank statement, that's what I did.

I dont think they'll let me use their account either. 🙁

I guess i'll just have to wait

Just tell them they don't have to do anything but read numbers off of a bank statement. Paypal is one of the biggest and most secure companies online.

lol, maybe even earlier. Until I get a job, which will be next year, and my parents open up a checking account for me 😀

I think you can use a prepaid credit card for Paypal which you can buy from a grocery store or wal-mart, but I heard some places like GoDaddy and 1and1 won't accept payments from Prepaid credit cards unless you contact their customer support and see if they agree to let you purchase from them.

I did it four years a go when I needed to pay for web hosting which I bought from a friend before I had a real Credit Card.
