PayPal help

Some guy who goes by the username: [email protected] is saying that I owe him money and in a couple of days this goes into investigation, I never bought anything from him and if PayPal think I'm a fraud person which I'm not they'll close all accounts from my ip which is quite a few with my parents etc.

What do I do? 🙁 not used to PayPal much how it is anyway!

He isn't saying that. PayPal is launching an investigation. I lost $14 because of it. It's Joel from AdvertiseHotSpot. PayPal screwed him over and locked his account basically..

So now they're investigating all his money he sent. I believe he has emailed them to try work it out but you know PayPal... You'll never get far.



The worst that can happen if you will lose whatever money he sent you. It sucks but happens.

It's saying I sent it from what I see, it says -30 cents and -2 dollars which he's asked for 😵

I don't want them to close my account with $30 in it and slowly saving up for XF, that would fail.

You should be fine. Just go along with it, I'm sure it's not hard to figure out what is going on, what you're meant to do, etc.

OHH, I thought I did something wrong. Found a thing to dispute it and just said, not sure what's going on :lol:

If you did nothing wrong, then you have nothing to worry about. They need to have solid factual evidence to close your account or you can sue them for discrimination, false accusations, defamation of character, or whatever. 😀

Yup I once lost $30 or so for some stuff I wrote when a guy did a bank reversal on me PP basically told me it wasn't up to them so you just gotta cut your losses I guess.

HOLY CRAP. Guys, its me. That belongs to my Paypal! Yes, Paypal LOCKED my account. I cannot login. PLEASE, I did NOT started that dispute. Come on, for only $2? I won't risk my reputation for that small amount.

Let me tell you guys, it was Paypal. They did it under my name. They went to dispute ALL my transactions. All money I sent has been disputed by them. I didn't do it. I have received tons of emails saying that I disputed the transactions. But Paypal did it. I apologize if the funds I sent you previously got charged back now. I DID NOT do it.

My account is blocked, together with the $500+ USD inside. For WHATEVER reasons, they have blocked my account. I emailed them 48 hours ago and they just replied today saying that "my account was limited". They didn't give any reason to why ALL my transactions were disputed. Worst thing is, the email states that the staff has unlocked my account, but I tried logging in but still failed to ...


Paypal ... oh paypal ...

Well, they cleared is up for me Joel an I got my $14 back. Was it really for $2? That's not worth bothering anyway.

Wow good news then! Yep I also received emails from my friends stating the dispute has been closed. Glad this is now solved.


Once again, Paypal disputed all my sent transactions. Not me.

You have to be 18 to have an account, those who try to set one up without a parental approval means paypal can shut the account down.

Be careful of trying to circumvent the system, they have been known to block IPs as well. If you have an account and are under 18, cool beans but just note you could loose it all without question and then that places you and your members/clients at odds especially if someone paid for an item or service.

Glad it all got sorted.

There has to be some sort of reason why they would want to dispute them though. Maybe it just looked fishy or something?

Anyways, hope everyone gets what they are supposed to get and everything unlocked. Losing paypal would suck big time!

Spot On M8 because is minors create accounts without parental approval and paypal will take such risk.
