I'm not sure if this is the right place to be posting this(please move it, if its in the wrong place).

Ok, heres the question, I have a paypal account opened, but I dont want to put my bank number on there. I have a debt card, but no checks, I'm not sure how to enter my bank account into paypal, so I can start buying stuff I need.

Do I really need to enter my bank account. I can get money from people through paypal, somehow, but will I be able to recive the money, and spend it on the web ??

If you can help, that will be nice.

You can add a credit card as long as it isnt one of those gift cards. you dont NEED a bank account.

But I dont want to add anything. I just want to be able to recive money, and that money I recive, I want to be able to buy things with that money. Not my own money I put in from my bank account or credit card.

I think you can just receive and spend money that has been sent to you but the amount you can send and receive i think is limited.

Yes you do need a bank account. I have an accoutn with paypal also. they require that because the money CAN be transferred into your account OR you can get the paypal card, which allows you to take money out of the paypal account. But mostly now , places do require a bank account of somesort. 🙂

Nope...this is to stop money laundering... if u need to buy something, pm me, and i will buy it for you..for a link on ur site and some members 😀

Ok, some people are wrong on here. You can receive money, which shows up on your PayPal account. With this you can spend it as you wish using PayPal. If you wish to get money onto your account via a bank account or credit card than you would have to enter that information. Though, it is not needed. Also, note that I think there is a limitation on accounts, depending on what account type you have selected.

I hope that answered your question.

You need to confirm your bank details and home address to remove some of the limits imposed on the account as with out them you are limited to how much you can receive or send out.

this is not true at all...the limites are to small, 0 dollars, to recieve or send money..

I really hope I get a clearly right answer. Because I'm going to be working at a hosting site, and I will get payed to be a moderator.

just have the money transfered to me, and i will buy crap for you. im trustworthy. paypal HAS to have a credit card or bank account.

No it doesn't.

I have a paypal account and no bank connection to it and it works fine, all it means is you cannot transfer money from your bank to paypal and vice versa.

You can still receive money and send money on your account.

I know but, I would like to just buy stuff when I want to. Like when I need something, I will need it asap, not in a week. It would be like a week or 2 before I would get what I need.

Like for an example, I got into a wreck awhile back, I need a hood, fenders, and a bumper less than a week, how will I get that stuff in less than a week ? I'm looking at getting help from my bank, maybe I'll go down there tomarrow, if I have time.
