Paypal Question?

Why can't I send money if I don't have a verified paypal? I have seen and heard about others doing it and I can't figure it out.

Any help?

It depends on the country.

For example here in India we can send money through unverified paypal but we have a 500 $ limit.

also it depends whether the site where you are paying accepts unverified paypal or not.

i am just trying to send money to people here. It's not letting me, saying I have a 0 sending limit

yes as far as I know US paypal accounts can't send money without verification.

No they can send money, But it need to be done using eCheck which can take anywhere from 5-7 days before reaching the person/company which you are trying to send, It is really easy to verify, And if you cannot verify because no credit card well than that defeats the purpose of using and shows your not even old enough to use it.

Well that's wrong. I can send money from unverified to verified and verified to unverified without issue.

I am 18, and don't have a credit card. I use a regular bank card for my account. But yeah verifying is easy, can't you verify by phone now?

Well that's wrong. I can send money from unverified to verified and verified to unverified without issue.

I had the issue when my account was unverified which was at least a year ago, so it might have changed since then.

Use this, your account will be verified within 2-3 days. I just did it today, and I'm waiting, heard it works though.

Just attach one of those prepaid Visa gift cards to your Paypal account. It should verify it as being a debit card and thus verifying your account.

Won't work. If I remember correctly, what PayPal does is that it charges your credit card with a sum of $1.25 and you have to type in the transaction ID or something like that.

Honestly, verification in the US/Canada is pretty easy to do. It also shows you're a real person and stuff.

You probably live in the United States. I'm guessing Paypal US doesn't allow unverified accounts to send money.
