A bank account from your country would also verify your account, so no, you do not need a credit card.

Yes, although this is the Internet, so many under 18's do have PayPal, as its very easy to set up.

NameCheap does not require verified PayPal. I have bought about 20 domains with an unverified account at NameCheap.

I try and add funds to my account and it redirect me to a paypal page. I enter my email and password then redirects me to a page where I have to enter my credit card number.

Did you try using a prepaid creditcard to see if it would work for verification?

I once use a prepaid credit card for my Paypal account to buy a domain from Godaddy and it worked.

You can get prepaid credit cards from Safeway, most major super market, and places that sell gift cards. Some banks also sell prepaid credit cards.

But, I'm not sure if it will still work since I now use a real credit card.
