Paypal under 18?

I'm not 18 and have a paypal in my name. It's annoying af, but there are ways around their policies. And I've never been shut down

Nobody really takes that over eighteen rule seriously. Don't worry too much about it. I didn't have a Paypal account until I was nineteen, but I never had a bank account in my name until then.

You're still not technically supposed to have Paypal, it would have to be in your parents name and not yours.

Unverified paypals can accept payments no problem.

You wouldn't verify your account, meaning don't link your bank account to it I believe.

But then you can't send money, correct? What would be the point of receiving money if you can't send any?

You can send the money that is in your paypal account I think. Or once your account is over 60 days old get a paypal credit card (I don't know if you need a verified account to do so).

So I would say I'm older than 18 but then turn around and sign up with a savings account that says I'm 15? And I can cash my PayPal into my Savings?

Did you do the thing where they do two deposits of <$0.50 and you have to punch in on their site how much they deposited? They don't check with your bank to see if you're over 18, if that's what you're referring to. I had PayPal when I was 17, but hooked it up to a debit card/checking account then later on added on my savings account.

It was put on limited access, because I put a stupid prepaid card on there.

So, can't do much about it.

I'm under 18 (dang well under 18 lol) and I have a paypal account. I don't think it's wrong at all. They'll never need to know what you're ever going to use the money for so I guess it's fine.
