I can tell you from here that it's either a virus or a program that you have installed previously.

Same thing happened to me.
I just busted a program did you try booting it in safe mode?

Have you force turned it off too many times? That broke Windows on my previous computer and I needed to reinstall.

I disabled automatic reboot on system failure, but it's still restarting

-- June 11th, 2011, 4:37 pm --

Couldn't start it in DSRM

Okay it sounds like your boot sector has gotten corrupted. In order to fix this I need to know what Operating System you are using.

Also can you boot into safe mode? If you can boot into safe mode it is most likely something in your start up list that has gotten corrupted or is not loading correctly.

Windows 7 and no

Okay first try this when bootin g up,before the windows start bar appears press f8 a few times. A menu called Advanced Boot Menu will appear.

See if something like repair your computer or start up repair shows up.

If there is one you should then get to a repair screen. It should automatically start start up repair. If it does not click start up repair and let it run. This should fix your problem.

However if you do not have that option in your menu you will need to download and burn to disc the Windows 7 Recovery Cd.

Which is downloadable from here - http://cybernetnews.com/windows-7-recovery-disc/

Then boot from the disc and again run startup repair.

Usually this could result in a corrupted OS or a Hardware failure that causes the system to restart because it can not continue.

(Hardware as in a motherboard, RAM, etc)

I believe that is a Windows Start Up issue?

I'm not sure if you have D-Drive or not...A D drive means if you have a problem it will fix your issue within the computer itself without a recovery disk. Insert your recovery disk
Press F8 when you see the Windows screen (first screen on start up)
Wait a few seconds

If you like you can do a restore from a previous point which may/may not fix your issue.

It can also mean your motherboard is wearing out. How long have you had this computer?

The problem does not in any shape or form show his mobo is wearing out. The problem is mostly likly a messed up boot config as I have already stated. If this was any kind of hardware issue, which I doubt it would be the hard drive.
