PC Problem (Figures)

My sound on my laptop has seem to stop working, with the headphones and built in speakers. Last night, my computer froze and the fan started running very loud. It then resumed after about 30 seconds and this displayed:

Pull up your Device Manager and look for anything funky. Does your laptop have an independent sound card or is it on-board?

Make sure your drivers are all up to date, I had an issue with my laptop speakers caused by the driver not being up to date.

Now tonight when I opened up my laptop I found 17GB of files being transferred to somewhere.

No, no porn here! And I never click on pop ups.

Obviously that bit was rather humor-laced. Just sounds funky that 17 GB of files would be transferring "somewhere". That's not a normal behavior by any means.

I'd update/run your anti-virus just to be sure. If you need a good free option, avast! is pretty solid.

I have norton 360 installed.

Lets hope someone didnt put 17GB if porn into my laptop! 😀
