Have you ever written letter (snail mail) to another person you didn't know in person? When I was younger I remember having multiple penpals. Unfortunately we did not stay in touch. I guess with the popularity of the internet people just started drifting away from handwritten letters. I've always had messy handwriting but I thought it was fun to receive a letter then responding to it.
I didn't have a penpal when I was younger, but I did mail people letters often when I was younger. I always considered waiting for a new letter in the mail to be fun.
Yes, my Mother had my sister and I write to people all over the world. It was a lot of fun and got many cool gifts from each Penpal. I miss those days, now kids are walking around with iPhones and Tablets *Shakes head*
