People Online Or Friends?

• ● Do you see the people you talk to online as your friends?
  ● Is one of your best friends a person you talk too online?
  ● Are your friends just ones you meet in reality or ones you meet online as well?
  ● If you were to name all of your friends verbally, would you say people that you find are your friends online?

If I had to think about it, I can consider people online as friends, if they care and listen to my problems and offer some sort of support. And I always do the same.

But Ive never actually thought of listing them as a friend, I usually choose my friends in real life first. Also my best friend is in real life.

And I'd be glad to meet some people I've met through my excursions on the interwebz.

Although there are some very nice people on the net - I'd pick friends in reality rather than the virtual world.

Well, I'm engaged to a woman I met online, who I also consider my best friend.

I also am fortunate to have several other close friends online, that I've known for some time and talk to on a daily basis.

I consider people online to be friends. However, I am learning that not everyone online is what they appear to be. I am a very honest and open individual and expect others to be so also. My best girlfriend, who I met online, tells me that I should know that not everyone is like me. My best girlfriend doesn't trust everyone--seen too much I guess--where I have lived a very sheltered life.

But there are a few people I talk to online that consider me one of their best friends, and I would say they are friends to me. Real life freinds are better though.

I think too many are afraid to make friends online, so they start
being fake, or not using normal social skills.

One of my best friends is a person online. I consider those I talk to the most online to be my friends, those I don't talk to not so much (like people on forums such as this) acquaintances.
