I remember the days where people believed in live and let live, debate and agree and disagree, but now one side has to be right and one side has to be wrong. The side that is wrong has to be oppressed completely and shunned and labeled something, but if you debate or question what the established politicians say you are a racist, xenophobic, fascistic.
I think Republicans are probably reasonable, but alt-right types are not. In fact, in a sense, the white racists are just a mirror of those who play racial politics in other groups.
I personally liked how Dennis Prager put it. Alt-right, Alt-left regardless both are equally a problem in the US, but they are not really 'large'. Media like to make it seem larger than it really is, but in reality it's much smaller. Let's use the KKK as an example, according to the FBI they are 3,000 KKK members known currently in the US. The KKK is no where near the numbers it was back during its foundation by the Democratic Party in the late 1800 early 1900 and its prime.
There is also plenty of photos online you can find of individuals and more so Antifa which is a Alt-left radical group who were there. So you have photos of individuals all the way from California going to these places to cause trouble.
Also what Dennis mention which is also very true the last political party to make "Race" an important subject for political identification was the Nazi Party. Racism, Race baiting, Race play are from the Nazi book and a good way to manipulate public opinion as well as control or oppress opposing views.
Another thing that surprises me most about the Media and the Left is why must we be bias as they want us to be? They want us to blame all white-colored individuals for the problems happening in the US, but you have individuals like Al Sharpton who currently leads BLM (another Alt-left group) on video telling black individuals to go out and kill all white individuals, but the media never talks about this.
Reality of the matter is racism works both way. Instead of pressuring blame on one side or the other why not educate the next generation both white, black, brown, etc. That you accept everyone regardless teach them that we are all human? Instead of saying only whites can be racists like the Left have promoted many times.
You can't really stop idealism, but you can promote a more mature atmosphere if others are willing to corporate and willing to work together, but it is hard when others only want their way.
