I have some activity on forums wich goes for like 5 ppls including staff ..i was thinking of adding more groups as Graphics Team & such to increase member activity, posts and such.

I was also thinking of weekly/monthly contests as MOTM (member of the month), SOTW (Signature of the week), I dont think the SOTW will fit very well for a General discussion forum so thats why i need some1's opinion about this.

Also i'm thinking of adding a Website Advertise Section to increase number of members, posts & topics as there are many peoples that are registering to quickly advertise their site and might stay.

Also i was going to merge phpbb3 with joomla, it will look more proffesional & our website will have more content, When it's released we will have VOTW (Video of the week), POTW (Picture of the week) and News around the world.

I was going to add a VIP Group aka Contributor group and to get into that group you need to be active, have done something good for the website and the VIP Group will get access to the Staff room & The VIP spam room to increase their post count by 100%, The vip group will also have access to our Arcade.

Point & rep system: i was going to add both of them and use it to buy your way into the VIP group & other things.


All this is going up on www.spotah.com later on maybe but i need some opinions about this 🙂

I see some decent suggestions...
I would urge you NOT to allow members to BUY their way into the VIP group with points/rep... This takes the value out of the term VIP.

If I may suggest something, a series of "Signature Trade" topics, a sort of "Secret Santa" style graphics exchange has become VERY popular on my forum's Graphics Team section.

To many also's there, just do them all, if members wanna have them removed, have a vote. The best idea I think was phpBB merged upon Joomla, it is a good idea and exactly what your forum needs to pick upon activity. The worst idea is gaining more staff to post around, and the ViP spam room, just not good for any forum as your forum can be picked up as a general spammy game forum on search engines if the posts go up in thousands. Point's and repuatation should have been added in the first place before opening. Your forum name reminds me of a spot, not like one you may get on your space, like a site seeing spot, the spot for space, all discussion is open discussion. Just promote more basically.
