Do you have any personal goals with your account here at Forum Promotion? If so, what are they?

I have a few that I had made a goal to start working towards, that I am hopefully going to get around to actually starting, since my initial 2015 goals at FP.

My eventual goals to achieve are:
  1. 1,000 posts per month (replies and topics, doesn't really matter what contributes to it)
    1. With the eventual goal to hit between 1500-2500 posts per month.
  2. 25,000 Total Post Count
  3. 50,000 Total Post Count
  4. Back to holding between 50k-100k minimum FP, to host a number of official FP Exchange and FP Loan Services.
What about you?

I like the community around here and can tell people create websites and forums for genuine reasons, so I want to support that best I can by offering strategy and design feedback where I can.

I don't really have post count goals, but hope to see my reactions/like count grow in correlation to my post count

Yeah, not many people care about post count, when it comes to most forums they have an account on. Most of the forums I am on, I couldn't care for my post count on them, unless I pushing to help the forum achieve a certain goal.

I'd say that is a pretty good goal.

Thank you. 🙂

Took me 5 years to decide to request to be on staff here initially, because I was afraid of rejection of the groups I potentially wanted to be in.

I can understand your fear in not asking. It's very depressing being seen as irrelevant and unimportant. I've been rejected on more things than I can count. After a while you get used to being seen as lesser and inferior. Sometimes when you apply and someone does pick you, it gets your attention, because I'm not used to that as much. I'm used to seeing and watching other people succeed. But well that's life and the best thing one can do is be happy for that person's achievements. No sense in getting frustrated and depressed over things we have no control over.

I came here to get some help to increase activity on Christianity Haven and I have accomplished that so I'm happy that goal was met. I continue here because as I told @Cam! that if I can help FP to grow, then ultimately CH will grow too. So my next goal is to figure out how to get newbies to stick around and maybe how to get the long time members to return and want to stay. Any hints?

Give them plenty of treats and they'll stay.

I do not have personal goals here on FP really. Become a staff again, maybe! but honestly, that's going to be a big fail and a no-no. Most think that I just dude spam posting and that's all, At times no idea if I'm really dedicated to it. Other goals maybe earn the highest of FP$ in FP history 😛

I have no goals here, at all. I just want to chat with others who enjoy forums, gather and offer whatever advice I can, and enjoy my time here. I'm still pretty new here, so I have no aspirations in terms of staff or anything like that, just interaction 🙂

My goal when I joined, 1 year ago exactly 🙂, was to help promote my forum. I've met some great people who've helped me learn more about running a forum. I guess my goal is to continue to learn & grow.
