Pets for company

Do you have a pet? Particularly for the aged, a pet is a good companion especially when there is no family to speak of. I know of so many old couples living alone with their pets as their only companion. They say that pets are better than humans because they have fewer problems. One philosopher even said that a pet was created by God to give lonely people a companion.

I had a dog and he use to welcome me home after a long shift at work but I lost himin August and now the house is very quite with out him

I used to have a dog, he was a German Shepherd called Fred. He was the most loyal dog and great with all my family and friends.

Currently, I have no pets, although there is a cat who insists on sleeping on my driveway each day, comes up to me when I leave my house to give me the latest and all that.
