You just want to get to all my passwords 😛 J/K My daughter named her guinea pig Sugar. That guinea pig's mother was named Donut and the father was named Dunkin...for those not in the US there is a famous doughnut place called Dunkin Donuts. When they had a litter my daughter called them her munchkins and named them all after sweets.
I had two cockatoo's many moons ago. First one we called Pyscho as he really was crazy. The second one we named Freddy after the famous Kruguer as he had very long claws/talons.
Sonny and Cher: Two canaries we had, named for pretty obvious reasons. I think it was my mom's suggestion.
Shining Armor and Cadence: More canaries. Named for two characters from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic
Kyle: I'm extremely fond of the name so named another canary that.
Applejack/Lovely Dovey: Originally I named this love bird Apple Jack from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic but she responded more to Lovely Dovey. We got her at the SPCA.
Poppy: My chihuahua. Originally we thought she was born on my grandfather's birthday, thus the name, but it was actually not the case.
Clover: A parrotlet I had. She was green, thus the name.
Cloud: Another parrotlet. Can't remember if I named him for the game character from FFVII or his color which was white.
I named my cat Muse (after the band Muse, Adobe Muse and the definition of the word; being an artistic inspiration, which I found quite suitable as I'm a designer and I got her because I needed some company in my life). My dog is named Chabo - or actually Tjabo, with 'tj' changed to 'ch' - which means 'friend'.
I previously had a cat named Lucky. Generic name, but he actually was lucky after all. He was a stray cat which we adopted, and a cat named Misty (which was a grey Persian cat, so the name should be self-explanatory).
