Former Indianapolis Colts QB Peyton Manning has told his agent to start negotiations with the Denver Broncos. It's expected to be a 5 year deal. The Broncos -- pending the finalization of the contract -- are expected to put Tim Tebow on the trade block, or release him.

5 years? I know he's good. But does he have that long left in him?

I'd say he's go two or three left in him at most, but you never know...

He could just do what Brett Favre did. :great:

Anyways, it's sad to see him not on the Colts because I was a longtime fan, but hopefully he'll do some good in Denver because I use to live in Colorado. Hopefully Tebow goes somewhere good where they will respect him because he's a great guy.

Denver respected Tebow. Just seemed like your last sentence says that Denver didn't. He just didn't get the job done well.

Oh no, they did, I was just saying that because a lot of people don't respect him simply because he's a Christian.

The Broncos signed Manning so that releasing Tebow would be justified. Fans don't mind as much if you bring in a future hall of famer.

As a Colts fan though, I was really sad that they let him go. Bad move, in my opinion. He could have been a great mentor for Andrew Luck.

Peyton to the Broncos will be fun to watch. It'll be weird not seeing him in the Indy Colt Uniform though.
