I a not very sure if the American Academy of Physicians or the World Psychiatry Forum recognizes PMVS or the Phantom Mobile Vibrating Syndrome as a psychiatric disorder, but most countries are in the heels of doing it. PMVS is a disorder of the modern times wherein we feel vibrations in areas where we frequently keep our mobile phones (thigh pockets or chest pockets) even though there is no mobile there.

Among us so many 'normals' here, most of us have this disorder. I have it but it does not impair my ability to lead a normal life and hence is not a 'disorder' yet. What about you all?

I get this but I wouldn't say it's a disorder. It's just something that happens.

I don't get it, due to not having a phone on me at all times, nor do I need my phone on me all the time.

....what? You have to be joking. Lol.

It's just like when you're done swimming after a while, you still feel like you're moving in the water even though you're not. Or when you've been driving for a while and walking feels a little weird. This is the stupidest thing ever. Lol. The only time I can see it ever being close to a disorder is when someone frantically stops driving so they can check their phone because they thought it went off. 😛

Thank god that I can live without one. My first phone that I own was back in 2014 and so it's been two years or so. Before that I lived without of needed one at all 🙂

What made me got one as I had to move around allot and needed an phone to do allot of things. Now I'm on it every day and spending allot at nights on it.

I've felt this from time to time. More of a tingling than a vibration. It's pretty weird!
