Do you have any phobias?

I don't like sleeping with the light off when I'm home alone, so I keep it on. Reason being is that have been unexplainable things happen in our home so I sleep with it on when my mum works nights.

I used to always have to have either a night light or my door cracked open with light coming in. I wasn't scared of the door, it was just some odd phase. Now I sleep in a dark as can be room.

I don't have any phobias that I'm aware of.

snakes

i dunno if you guys know this

but they're literally the devil

Only if you don't know how to handle them. 😉 I'd much rather deal with snakes over spiders.

i dunno man spiders creep my stuff too but they dont get as big as snakes do. it's just something about them that makes my body just tense up like im balls deep into this phobia.

like in my head i wanna roll around with lions and bears but if i get anywhere near a garden snake i'll cry and piss myself from fear

I am definitely scared of cockroaches >.< Also, I am scared of heights u.u Which is terrible :/

Remember, Humans are 100 times bigger than the typical spider. They are more afraid of you, than one may be of them. I can understand if someone is afraid of spiders, if they have had a bad experience with them, but I still think that if someone is afraid of a spider, just because of the fact that it has 8 legs, and can suddenly appear out of nowhere, when you are not expecting them, doesn't mean that one should be afraid of them.

My only Phobia, is that in regards to heights, and not having enough space to get away from the edge of such heights. If there wasn't enough space to walk around on, I typically start freaking out.

It doesn't matter how big we are. If people are afraid of spiders for any reason, they're going to be. Simply saying "you shouldn't be scared because you're bigger than them and they're scared of you" isn't really going to help those that are scared. Some people just can't stand certain bugs.

I know, it just seems odd to me, in regards to spiders, when some people have a phobia type fear of them, when some people haven't had a bad experience with them.

Some people just cannot stand crawly creatures, whether it be a spider or some other type of bug.

That is true. I know I am larger than any snake out there. And snake attacks are normally their means of self-defense, meaning they're afraid of us (?). But despite these, I just really cannot stand snakes. They're just so creepy. D:

When I was much younger, needles.

Oh how I despised them....

I have a terrible fear of heights and therefore rollercoasters. I just don't feel safe ;_;

My biggest phobia would have to be public speaking. I do well alone.

Same..well, partially. I hate public speaking and general public attention. Though, I hate being alone in terms of a significant other.
