Chances are you've come across a website or forum today with many broken image links thanks to PhotoBucket's decision to change its terms and conditions, removing the 3rd Party Hosting feature from the lower subscription tiers. What this means is if you're a member and would like to continue having your 3rd party images hosted you are now required to sign up for a Photobucket Plus 500 subscription, which costs $39.99 per month or $399 per year.

I can just picture the stampede of people leaving photo bucket for good over this especially all the free users who aren't going to pay for something I imagine can be offered elsewhere for free still.

Yup. I really don't get why they did this, though I've never used Photobucket myself, so I wasn't affected by it.
If I wasn't able to host it on any of my own sites I've always used Imgur and haven't had a problem with their service in five or six years.

Damnnn, i use to use it for runescape but i stopped when i quit the game

PhotoBucket is one of the worst image hosts that there is. They're consistently down and offer absolutely nothing that Post Image and Imgur don't already have a better version of. This is just the nail in the coffin for their company.

My thoughts exactly.
Before this happened I was actually shocked whenever I would still see people using their 'service'.

On my board i have a graphics section, for like Banners we have done, requests for almost anything for people, they amount to about a thousand images i have, most are supported by PB, so we spent 3 days re hosting them to our own server, but it is targeted to those who upload images from other sites, Hotlinking, you have images on PB that are not Hotlinked, you wont lose them
