phpBB 3.0.8 Released!

I think I was the first to use it. I was reloading the page and as soon I saw that, I downloaded and uploaded it.
 
I unfortunately had an issue with the Karma MOD on my forum so I ended up doing a fresh install of phpBB. In the end after a few hours of editing styles I'm finished 😛.
 
Is this in beta stages though or is there going to be an emergency release like there was with 3.0.7?
 
Nope its been tested they finally re leased it. i been testing before the made it public.

I have other fixes on my forum i have to worry about over updating it. although the red 3.0.7-PL1 is quite annoying
 
I'll put this topic in our staff lounge and see what my co-administrator has to say about this. Sometimes he can be a tad picky about updating this stuff right away, and I'm always a little suspicious about it at first, especially if it goes right from RC1 to release stages so soon.
 
Yes its a minor updates and bug fixes and everyone is advised to update.

EnviroClub: you should have posted a help topic as i have the karma fix

and anyone needs it updating you know where I am, already got 3 to do via my phpBB service. 🙂

No probs not everyone has had the issue with it, I didnt but its worth fixing though
 
Well, I put this in our Administration section of our Staff Lounge... I guess ever since 3.0.7's emergency release with PL-1, I'm in no hurry to update at the moment, incase of a emergency release which may force us to update again.

This one seems like it fixes some security issues, so I'd upgrade if I were you.
 
Well, I'm being lead to understand that we will be doing some updates to the forum later on in the week, so it sounds like the new upgrade will be part of the updates. I hope so...
 
The main forum here is now running phpBB 3.0.8... Went as smoothly as it could have done really.
