First Impressions & Appearance - (Out of 20)
Well your homepage is huge, it has a long article on the MODX release. You should add a 'read more' link so I am not overwhelmed by it, not everyone will be looking forward to the new modx release, so it gets annoying. also, you say the style was edited by you, but all I see is a Christian Bullock multiply used template. He does indeed give out good templates, but using one that is the most common on forums just bores me and makes me want to leave.
Also having a feed icon on each forum looks bad. I would add one RSS button on the bottom of the site, because most people (study based, I have back up) don't use RSS feeds and most of the time, don't even know how to use them!
My overall on the impression is kind of poor, dull and very used theme, edit claims, huge articles on the homepage.. you should also add back Christians link, it states so in the licenses

Site Layout - (Out of 20)
It is layed out rather well, although the logo seems to run into the login box. I would make the logo smaller as it doesn't look to well set up.
The FOTM area looks well set up but reminds me of the Featured Forum area on ForumPromotion.net. Try going different!
You have too many forums an too less users. Remove many until you get more activity on your forum. Having 0's in the forums is not good and will turn a guest off.

Statistics and Activity - (Out of 20)
Showing the users online in the past, it shows very poor activity. For beung open for a month or two, i'd expect more than just a 1000 posts and only 5 people on each day. You have too much staff on the forum, most of your activity comes from them, and I am not seeing how some people got VIP.
You also have 56 users and only 1760 posts, get those users postings! Not just sitting in your database, develop some kind of cool idea to get users posting, not sleeping.

Staff Moderation - (Out of 20)
This part looks good, only the best is accepted, which is pretty good. Though you are overstaffed. I woulden't think 2 admins at this point is needed, and even if that admin could be active, it makes the forum feel lonley, like the owner won't care. Sterotyping but that is the first usual thought. If admins arn't on to welcome, they probably wont be back to see the rest of the forum.
Although posts don't look to contain spam or advertising. Good job on that.

Spelling/Grammar & Professionalism - (Out of 20)
Forum showcase has no description, I think they should really add a description. It will help the user find out what is in that forum appeals to them. The requests forum should really include services you offer. I just says read the stickied topics to request, but I have no idea of what I am requesting! Try and add more description to all forums to look better.

Good looking forum, though the author needs credit where due. Fix the problems listed here and work more on your forum and start some topics to get users posting.
