Registered Users apparently have access to my mod control panel, can someone help? Until I fix this since I am saying it out publically for security reasons my forum will temporarily have admin activation requirements for accounts and I will reset this once the issue is resolved. Can someone help?! D:

I've had a similar problem recently.

I had to :

Remove them from the group

Go out of the ACP

Go back in

Re-instate them into the group.

It may also be worthwhile:
a) checking up on group permissions
b) removing them from any other groups ( not just altering the default group)

Oh dear! I'm sorry I can't help but I hope you get it fixed quickly 😉

Last ditch effort:

Create a new group, put all the members in there, at least your forum can go live while you sort out the problem.

What the hell is that all about... That shouldn't fix anything.

Dr. Vincent Lawliet, do the following:
1) Log into the ACP
2) Click "users & groups" tab on the top
3) Click "Groups’ permissions"
4) Select "Registered users"
5) In the drop down box next to "Select type" select "Global Moderator permissions" and then make sure all permissions are no.

If that doesn't work try this:
1) Log into the ACP
2) Click "users & groups" tab on the top
3) Click "Groups’ Forum permissions"
4) Select "Registered users"
5) Select all forums
5) In the drop down box next to "Select type" select "Moderator permissions" and then make sure all permissions are no for each forum in the list.

You say that Fowler, but honestly it worked for me
