- Like IPB 2.3's Root Admin feature, founder is redundant on phpBB 3. Having preset Admin CP restrictions works better.
- The ability to synchronize every post at one time would be nice. I didn't get why they could not do that in phpBB 3.
- The User CP could use some minor touch-ups. Having a complete list on the side like MyBB/vBulletin would be nice, and saves a pageload.
- phpBB could use some AJAX to save some more pageloads, like in its quick replies, for example.
- Their confirmation messages could at least redirect where you want to go.
- I hope phpBB 3.1's plugin system works, cause file editing is a pain (and I had to live it in IPB 2.3, even when it wasn't as bad). AutoMOD doesn't really cut it either, as all it does is tries to keep a sluggish system alive.
I voted MyBB, because of the two, I find it's a better software both in the short term, and in the long term as well.
- I could understand not wanting features in by default (which is a problem in both vBulletin and IPB), but the other extreme is not having features in that most people would want. It took phpBB what? Until late 2009 to add a quick reply by default? MyBB, or any other forum software, for that matter, has had it for at least the last 3-5 years. Then you could talk about Reputation, multiquote, or even Thread Prefixes (1.6) if you wanted.
- It's nice to be able to modify your themes/templates directly through the ACP.
- ACP feature Searches (Live Search in IPB) help lower the learning curve.
- Google SEO for MyBB really helps our forums, but I'm sure phpBB SEO could also help phpBB owners as well.
Anyways, enough about why I liked MyBB. I'll be fair, there's a lot I don't like.
- MyBB has a few rude people in their community forums.
- They've been pretty stubborn about alternative logins, such as Facebook Connect or OpenID, to name some.
- Although I much prefer MyBB's ACP, at least phpBB improved their Admin CP when 3 came out. 2's wasn't bad compared to something as cluttered as vBulletin, but the usage of iFrames is never pretty.
- At least phpBB didn't screw up like vBulletin (with its customers) or SMF (with its community staff) did.
It actually involved a bot to convert the topics/posts (for both Zetaboards and Forumer) to PhpBB, then combined the two PhpBB forums with MyBB's Merge System.Bob. said:You got zetaboards database?

Neither do I, actually. =[theezy said:I dont like the tag though.

<center>$1</center>

Ah, thank you very much. That worked great!DarkRaven said:Go into ACP -> Configuration -> Mycode -> Add New Mycode. Then do the following:
Paste in, for your ''Regular Expression.''Code:\[center\](.*?)\[/center\]
Paste infor your ''Replacement''.Code:<center>$1</center>
The names, descriptions etc are all up to you to decide. When you are done, you shouldn't need to use tags. Instead you can useCode:
