The phpBB development team are planning and starting work on phpBB4! PhpBB4 will be perfectly laid out and it will be written in Symphony (that is a fact). PhpBB is also (probably) going to end support for php 5.2 or lower! 5.2 will be the lowest php version that you can use for phpBB!

It's not true, yes they are thinking about phpBB4 but that isn't coming for years to come. Yes it will be a complete re-write but as I said that will be coming out in years. Also this coding language, I've never heard of me, I'm old fashioned and only know the main ones, but it won't be written in another coding language as the whole point of the name is PHPBB.
