Does anyone know if the admin username can be changed to a display name on Phpbb

I think phpBB doesn't have display names, I believe the username is strictly just that. I know there are forum software that have a spot for a username and login name, with the username being the display name. You should be able to rename yourself since you're the root admin. All admins I believe have this feature by default, moderators don't.

The admin username in phpBB can't be changed directly to a display name. But, you can create a new user with your desired display name and assign admin permissions to that account. Just remember to keep your old admin account for any necessary admin-related tasks.

Wrong i actually figured it out and was able to change it they must have updated it. Thanks for the quick response my friend.
