phpbb3 lil problem

hi,

I building a forum and I am stuck with a thing.
I am not used to phpbb so, I keep looking around and cannot find the problem
I have created all categories, forums and subs, when I am looged in as admin, I can see all of them, however as guest I can only see the first category and it's subs

I looked at permissions and for guest, I have the first category and forums as read only everything else is marked as roles assigned, I changed them to read only but when I click apply permissions, they go back to no roles assigned.

Try clearing your browser cache, and purging the forum cache and then log out and log back in. Sometimes, when it logs you out and you don't know, you can do all this work but none of it is saved because the session is over.
