Phpbb3 - Login Problem

Well my co-admin on my site tried logging in last night. He gets the wrong password message , resets the password, but now the password from the e-mail is also wrong?

I went in and changed his pass via ACP, no luck. Deactivate/Reactivate account with no luck. Every password is still wrong.

Must I go into the database? If so what exactly should I do?

he is probably Ip banned.

Passwords are case sensitive. Make sure that you enter the username and password exactly right.

If he was banned, he would see a message.

I've had this problem with my co-admin

Don't know why this works but try it.

Go into the ACP, remove him from the Admin group.

Clear cache

Exit ACP

Enter ACP

Put him back in admin group, make it his/her default, remove from all other groups.

I know it sounds stupid, but honestly it worked for me !!

WOW sapper, you have had a lot of bad experiences!

I really think that should have worked, i thought just resetting the passwords would work. Never heard of that issue before..

Best way to get a thread closed is to report it btw.

Did he try clearing his browser's cache and cookies?

The problem should be from his computer if you tried his account and it worked.

WOW sapper, you have had a lot of bad experiences!

Must be the themes I'm using, and I use Automod a lot, which i know can throw up issues, but manual editing is time consuming.

And you learn from mistakes 😀
