PhpBB3 to MyBB

Hello,

I am try to merge my PhpBB forum to a MyBB forum and I am following all the instructions. When I get to the merge part and put in

http://forumshack.com/forums/merge

It gives me an internal server error page... Does anyone have a fix to this?

Check your .htaccess file. If it is empty delete the file. If there is stuff in there that MyBB needs (never worked with MyBB before, sorry!) copy it somewhere else, like Notepad, then delete the .htaccess file. OR you can just rename it to something else.

If that does not work then I am not sure. Any time I have a 500 Internal Server Error, getting rid of the .htaccess file usually fixes it right away.

Can you post the contents of your error_log file?

The MyBB support crew are usually pretty good with this kind of thing.
