That is not changable with freeforums.org. It is called the favicon and you have to have access to the files which you don't get.

You can change it on any forum software. You only need access to the files.

Meaning you have to download the files to your computer then upload them to your host. Which FF can't do.

Sheesh guys, way to over complicate it, guys.

Basically, it's called a 'Favicon' ("Favourite-Icon"). To get it, all you need is some HTML code.

Firstly, get the image you want (draw it, or something), save the file as .png, .gif, .ico or .jpg, then go to www.tinypic.com

Get the 'direct image URL' link they provide.

Take this code and put it in your HTML somewhere. Stick the image URL where I've specified.

<link REL="SHORTCUT ICON" HREF="***Image URL Here***">

Finish editing and your favicon should be there.


Most tutorials (as most are fairly old) will ask you to use a .ico graphic, but most up-to-date browsers will support icons with .jpg, .png and .gif for favicons, so I wouldn't worry. Just make sure it is 32x32 pixels or less.

I posted up the HTML code you can use in an earlier post. Also, Zetaboards gives you the option of uploading a Favicon from your hard drive.

guys, you can put a Favicon with freeforums.
Bascly you get your Favicon then you save it with PhotoBucket or GIMP save it as .ico the you can use the url.
