Pilot

I've been thinking and I really want to become a pilot.
I will get to travel to different parts in New Zealand and hopefully the world.

Would you ever want to become a pilot of a plane?

Never. I don't even feel comfortable having someone riding pillion on my motorcycle. No way I would feel comfortable transporting hundreds of people in something that could very easily crash and burn.

That's cool, but no way. Not for me. I'm deathly afraid of flying and I cannot get on an airplane. I haven't been on one for over 10 years because of my anxiety, and I'm not sure if I ever will.

ya that would be cool. I love flying! you pretty much have to have perfect eye sight to be a pilot, otherwise your screwed. I don't have perfect eyesight for it so therefore I can't be a pilot lol but it would be fun to fly!

Not really. Sounds too risky without much reward.. You're just transporting people from one place to another and there is a chance you could be hijacked, killed and/or crash and be killed. What are you going do with your pilot salary then? 😛

I personally am not interested in being a pilot (after all I'm a female) but I once wanted to become a flight attendant when I was little for exactly the same reason as Optimus had. My dad really wanted to be a pilot, he likes and knows a lot about flying planes. I guess what's important is the motivation and how much you like doing it. Flying does make me scared a bit with the crashes and stuffs, but it's a very important transport.

To be fair, all of that could happen while just driving. And in fact it's more common in cars than plans, at least if you're flying a plane there's not a whole lot that could get in your way if you have to look away for a second.

I've never been in a plane before, but I'd imagine the view is awesome. Plus pilot's make really good money.

I think it requires a lot of responsibility. When I was about 6 years old I wanted to be a Pilot but eventually that changed dramatically. 🙂

If it's something you want to do, go for it.
