Planning on a project

I see a lot of people rushing up a project, be it a forum or web service or blog without proper planning

This is one of the main reasons of the failure of most projects.

I agree with you on this. I always plan my projects thoroughly before launching my site, and always make sure I have most eventualities covered. In the past I have seen some people open a site without even thinking about what they are going to call it, and then they expect the site to go on and do well. I really do not see how they can expect that.

So yes, before launching a new site I always recommend to think things through, and make sure everything is correct before that big day when you finally open it.

I also always plan my projects. Personally, I find it a lot easy to have a plan then just trying to wing it and hope your site turns fine.
