Plans before school starts up again

So August is right around the corner, and some of us are starting school again sometime in August. What are your plans before school begins? Are you going on vacation, or are you planning on attending major stuff in the area in which you live before school starts up again?

With me, I am planning on going to a monster truck rally, a motor cross race, and a demolition derby before school starts here.

Plans? Cry, surf the internets, attend Hot August Nights, cry some more, binge watch some Grey's Anatomy, cry, and then start my final year of highschool. 😛

I'm confused as well. It's a bit sad but also very awesome that you have started studying even before holiday ends! If it were me, I'd use the remaining time to play around, go out with friends, and sleep. 😀

I'm not doing anything before school starts back. I already have my 10th grade curriculum ready and the program on my laptop so I don't need to worry about anyhing. 😛

I wish I had the same thoughts. 😛 I dislike math, especially when they start throwing in fractions, and letters into those fractions. At that point you might as well just fail me. :lol:

I wish I had the same thoughts. 😛 I dislike math, especially when they start throwing in fractions, and letters into those fractions. At that point you might as well just fail me. :lol:

There is a certain satisfaction to learning about one of the most effective human-created models for the universe. If you need any help on math, I will be happy to help you!

When I was in school, I would just chillax on my time off. The rapidly approaching start date never really inspired me to want to go off and do something big (while I still had the time). *shrugs*

People act like they are paralyzed by being a student. You're only there for 6 hours a day and you do have the weekends off. You can have fun and partake in various activities year round, not just in the summer 😛

I see, that's really great if you enjoyed math that much! If it's something you enjoy, definitely worth doing it during holiday. 🙂

Yes and no. At least for me, normal uni days take at least 8 hours daily (often extended to 10-11 hours), with many homeworks, and not always free on weekend due to shifts. Not that I don't go out or have fun during active days, but I definitely will go all out during holiday before school starts again. 😛
