Have you taken much thought into your plans for Christmas? It's in just under two months 😎

Not really. I know I'll have the day off work (assuming I don't have to go in to care for any sick pets and hopefully I don't), so that'll be a plus. Most likely will just be spending the day at home with my mom and opening presents though.

As my mother will be working during the day me and my partner might go to the local community lunch and then have dinner with my parents.

My daughter, her bulldog and her roommate are coming to visit for a couple of days. We'll be making the family recipe of homemade raviolis, meatballs and cheesecake for dessert. I'm excited to spend the time with them and eating good food!

I already have my Christmas shopping done already. I normally start about the time the kiddos go back to school (which is middle of August here where I live) and I'm usually done by Halloween. Being a person that works in retail, I already have to work in the holiday rush......I don't want to spend my 2 days off each week getting back out in it to do MY shopping. So, while everyone else is doing their shopping, I'm already at home wrapping the stuff I've bought and enjoying my days off instead of running around like a chicken with it's head cut off. Plus, if I have to order stuff online then my mailman probably likes me because I'm one less person he has to deliver stuff to at the last minute (not to mention, I have plenty of time for the stuff to get here).

I'm sure my family will get together at some point......it just depends on when everyone can find a way to get off work or everyone can get the day off at the same time or whatever.

I usually start thinking about it the week before and actually do something about it the day before.

But only if I really have to :bag:

I usually start worrying about Christmas right after Thanksgiving is done here in the States. We'll probably just have our usual Christmas dinner and maybe end up opening gifts on Christmas Eve.
