Playlist

I would like to add a Playlist feature to Wii Experience, except there's a problem. ALL Wii Experience features must be WiiNet compatible. So far I haven't been able to find a playlist compatible with the Wii. All of them use updated Flash Players.

While I keep searching I was wondering if anybody else could find one or at least point me in the right direction?

So you mean something like on playlist.com? If you have flash, then you could quickly make a custom playlist which isn't that hard and save it as an older version so its compatible. If you don't have it just download the trial for adobe.com

Wii doesn't allow downloads..... Playlist.com doesn't work and neither does most of its competition.

I'm looking for exactly what Playlist.com offers, but WiiNet compatible. Meaning Flash7 or lower or Java (maybe, not really sure) or something along those lines.

See, Playlist.com doesn't work, so I'm looking for a site that will. Or at the very least search engine keyword ideas to help my search along.

Seeing as you using invisionfree I suggest using playlist in a forum with dohtml enabled.

Then call it playlist area or something similar.

Trying looking for JavaScript Playlist or PHP Playlist. I can't promise anything and I haven't checked myself - although Flash is going to be your best bet. Unfortunately, it will be very hard to find a flash music player which is Flash 7 or below.

*tried* I had a little better luck with PHP as JavaScript gave gave me lots of codes but no players.

I'm going to try PHP again and see if I find something good. Thanks MhW -D-

or mods.ipbfree.com they wil have one.
If you can't find it you need to code one or request one from someone but most people on the two forums above pay for request or release the next year.

I keep finding alot of codes of this, but I don't really want to code one.

What I need is basically the same service that playlist.com provides but in a Wii compatible format.

I honestly don't know why you want a music player on the forum. They're kinda annoying, and, unless you're gonna stay on the same page and listen to the entire song, the music player restarts each page click, or page refresh.

A music player isn't going to be the driving factor for member activity, imo.

Most players have an option to turn off the auto-start.

This isn't really my project, but I said I'd try it.

However, each and every feature on Wii Experience must be Wii compatible..... and if a feature isn't then Wii users must be compensated appropriately.
