Guys, tomorrow (or today depending on what time it is for you) please go tell every one of your family members you love them .

I have realized throughout the past year that you never know if you or anyone in your family is going to live another day. With my parents and now my uncle having cancer and a blood clot (they put a filter in yesterday for that), my pawpaw having open heart surgery and my mawmaw needing surgery for her knee. It's just..I don't..just please tell them you love them. For reassurance in case you just don't say it enough. If you are fighting, make up if you hate each other, try to get along. Life is too short for petty things like that and I know I'm only 15 years old but I've realized this. My parents witnessed death, they actually died and were brought back to life. In the short time they were dead I felt so lost and lonely. I watched my dad and it killed me. I was mad at him, we fought because he was drinking before his heart attack. When we got to the ER I just knew we needed to make up and I am glad we did. Even though I have two years until I go to college I'm glad he loves me like I've always wanted now even though it's a little late. Our whole family has been brought closer together this past year. NONE of us got along before everything this year happened. When my dog died there was a huge empty hole in my heart because I miss him so much. I've slowly gotten over it. Still not fully but I know he's with me in my heart. I feel like I didn't play with him enough or pet him enough and it just killed me when I found him. That's why I want you all to tell everyone even your pets you love them and if you've lost someone, you love you know exactly what I mean with what I talked about above.

I agree. I'm on good terms with all of my family relatives. Its better to give hugs than practice prejudice with them. Kiss, make up, and get on with life.

That great. It makes me sad that some people are too stubborn, though. :/

I make sure to say good morning to my Mother everyday and tell her I love her. My Father, we have other ways of showing we care for eachother.

I hope everything gets better for you!

You're very lucky to realize this at a young age. It makes living life much more fulfilling realizing that you literally only live once.

My prayers to your family members.

Yeah. When I was younger. I used to fight with my mother all of the time.

I was pretty rebellious. But today. I've found that its better to pick and choose which battles actually matter and whether its worth it or not. I've grown to believe that with some of the people we care about, its just better to agree to disagree rather than fight with them over every little thing.

Another thing that I do is if I have trouble getting along with a family member. I limit my time around them and that makes things work for the better.
