Please give me some suggestions for rewarding Moderators?

I'm considering some ways that I might be able to reward the Mods on my business forum.

I've been thinking along the lines of offering them some promotion or advertising on the site. One idea I had in mind was creating a separate forum for staff sites. Staff members, and only staff members, could plug their sites in that forum. The Staff Sites forum would be promoted on various locations throughout the board, to help ensure it gets decent traffic for all the sites listed.

My preference is not to offer a financial reward, however I haven't ruled it out completely. One financial reward that I am considering is offering a monthly cash prize for the staff member of the month.

Any ideas for rewarding Moderators?

Maybe you can do what you do at HB and give them a footer link or something, if they have a website.

I like the site promotion idea, but one question is: Do ALL of your moderators own/run or help run a website/forum? If the answer to that is no, then your next best bet would be to probably offer that promotion only to those who run websites/forums, and then maybe something else for the ones on staff who don't run any Websites/forums. Another thing to consider is that probably not everyone has PayPal, so the cash prizes, again, would have to be consideration as to whether or not you can come up with something similar, or another idea all together.

Well, in that case, I suppose cash prizes would be a possiblity. But would everyone own a site or forum? Maybe, maybe not. So it's really kind of hard to say what all can be offered here.
