Please help me promote my forum!

Hey guys, any help is appreciated for promoting my forum named http://www.dragonforum.org
It is a new internet marketing forum, and for now I need DESPERATELY some new members to have some primary content.

Traffic exchange, blog, use promotion forums, but that's kind of it.

Before you do any more promoting, get some content.

Spend some time typing some posts up. I mean, at time of writing this, you have less than 30 posts (in 15 topics) on your entire forum (over half your posts are in your introduction section at that). Most sections (7 of your visible 12) are empty.
To be rather blunt, you have nothing unique or interesting to offer guests, just an empty forum. And most people don't want to join an empty forum. So it won't matter how much promoting you do because without something interesting or engaging, people aren't going to stick around. (They aren't going to create content for you... )

Postloop and other exchanges are a start, but you have to spend a lot more time creating content first. Write a few articles on promotion techniques. Perhaps your experiences with them. Something that fits your niche.

Got myself a new active member, so forum is post count is getting higher.
Post count went from 19 to 54 in an hour!

Postloop isn't necessarily a paid marketing tool, it can be free if you're exchanging posts.

I dislike the design and logo of your forum. I don't think the theme suits the niche. I also dislike the fact you have a shoutbox - especially as its at the bottom of your forum.

You've already put paid ads up, which is quite annoying to see on a new forum. What that shows members is you are only in this for the money- which most people dislike. I also think the choice of infolinks ads is a bad one.

You have chosen a theme without a sidebar. With a sidebar, you could have the option of placing private ads in that area.

You don't have any "strategies" and other forums contain no posts. Please fill them up.

Also it does not seem, as if your posting much daily. Maybe add up to 50 new posts daily?

Hi mate, I know infolinks ads are bad, blablabla, and the paid ads are not from me: it's from my host. They put ads on it as I am for now on free hosting.

Adding 50 posts daily wouldn't be easy at all for anybody as all the forum posts assembled only make 450 post...

As I said, I never use signature advertisement, regardless of if the user has 10 posts or 1000 posts.
