Some advice please, this is my first forum, I started it mainly because I was looking for a project to improve my PHP/JavaScript skills and in a roundabout way led to a forum on one of my hobbies, radio controlled cars, helicopters, planes, etc.
I am a coder, so the look is just the default vb style, any attempt by me to do graphics just ends in tragedy. I know I need to change the style and am looking at options.
The main thing I am trying to push is the "Classifieds Map", where once setting a location, any posts you please in the classifieds section gets displayed on a Map.

This forum is targeted at people in South Africa while it is a very niche forum, there are active Radio Control sections in general classifieds sites. It is these users that I am trying to attract to build an active forum in South Africa for all things radio controlled.
I have been going for about a month and just not getting any interest, have a Google ads running, get about 10-15 hits a day, but no registrations, even with a small competition.
I am now hooked, looking at stats throughout the day, please have a look any advice will be welcome.
