First of all there are a lot of sections there that are empty. Which looks really bad when trying to do a review of your forum.

You don't have forum rules which in all honesty you need for a forum of your genre. There will be haters flame wars etc if there are no rules and you won't be able to do anything about it as there is nothing telling people what is and what isn't allowed.

Next up why can't you just put the rules in the Announcements area and do away with that separate forum for the rules? I would say a header link on all pages would be suffice for alerting people of the rules. Something such as "Click here for Do's and Don'ts" or even "Please read this topic before continuing further".

You really need to work on getting content up there before doing anything.

I suggest you change the design also. Make forum list more narrow and when you get more posts, make it wider again because now, it looks very empty in my opinion :/
