Pros
- I like your banner. It is nice and simple and shows what your forum is about. It works well with your theme.
- I like that you can like the forum on facebook. This is something I don’t see often, and could help you get members.
- You have a TLD. This is always good it shows you are prepared to spend money to help the forum succeed. It’s a lot easier to remember as well.
- You are the only staff member. I would usually say you should hire another but as your forum is still small you are doing great on your own. Maybe consider it when you grow a bit bigger.
Cons
- Activity is not looking good. You have been open since February and don’t have 1000 posts yet. This is something that needs to improve. Try an active for active exchange with someone here at Forum Promotion.
- You offer packages, but don’t have any package staff. As your forum grows, you won’t be able to complete all the packages by yourself. You should really try to get some package staff and then maybe offer a free service week to get some more members.
- What is your favicon? It looks like a brown line to me. You should get a new favicon. It could say A4U, it’s simple and it’s your forums initials.
- What is My Staff? Is that the staff room? I don’t have permission to access it so I assume it must be. If this is the case, you should hide it from public view. There’s no reason for everyone to see it.
- Your topic icons are still the default. They look very boring and plain. You should get some new ones that match your theme.
- You only have 7 posts! As the only staff member, you need to post much more than that for your forum to succeed. If you don’t post, nobody else will either. You influence your members.
- Does contests and rewards really need it’s own board? Why not just merge it with announcements?
- I think movies and music should be merged and renamed entertainment, which would include all entertainment including music, movies, and TV.
- Advertise your site is where members advertise their sites, correct? Why does the board description say it is the place to discuss things like favourite software and host? This makes people unsure of what goes in there.
