Free cPanel Hosting Accounts Feature Changes
Dear free clients,
In order to offer paid clients more features, as of Monday 31st May 2010 we will be withdrawing the RV Site Builder and Installatron features from the cPanel free package features list.

We are pleased to announce the arrival of a new feature from within your cPanel for paid clients, PostGreSQL & phpPgAdmin!
PostGreSQL & phpPgAdmin can be used as an alternative to using MySQL® databases & phpMyAdmin.
Resellers can activate it by adding it to their feature list assigned to their packages if they are not using the default features list.

Important Changes Coming From June 14th
Hello everyone,
This is an important announcement to announce the following changes are being made from Monday June 14th:
1. We will be moving providers. This move is so we can be able to offer better support, speed & uptime to our clients but this unfortunately will come at a price as we will have to make some major changes to our plans and site structure. More information about the provider move will follow closer to the time of the move.
2. When we move, our main domain will become plutohosting.net but as soon as everyone is switched, plutohost.net will continue to work, but will redirect to the new domain. Nameservers and clients with sub-domains should continue to work as normal.
3. As mentioned above in point #1, there will be some price rises. The following plan price rises are going to be made:
* Paid-3 will be going up from £4.00 GBP // $5.00 USD to £5.00 GBP // $8.00 USD monthly
* Reseller-1 will be going up from £5.00 GBP // $8.00 USD to £6.00 GBP // $9.00 USD monthly
* Reseller-2 will be going up from £7.00 GBP // $10.00 USD to £8.00 GBP // $12.00 USD monthly
* Reseller-3 will be going up from £9.00 GBP // $13.00 USD to £10.00 GBP // $15.00 USD monthly
* Dedicated IPs will be going up from £1.50 GBP // $2.00 USD to £2.00 GBP // $3.00 USD monthly. Clients already paying for dedicated IPs will have their recurring amounts and invoices updated accordingly.
* Master Reseller access will now cost £3.00 GBP // $4.00 USD monthly to be enabled on Reseller-2. Reseller-3 clients will continue to get this access for free but this may change in the future to new orders.
* Alpha Reseller access will be going up from £3.00 GBP // $6.00 USD to £4.00 GBP // $6.00 USD monthly. Clients already paying for dedicated IPs will have their recurring amounts and invoices updated accordingly.
There may be other price changes planned and these price rises are to help cover extra costs from the new provider as they are slightly more expensive, but will be able to offer better support, speed and uptime, as stated in point #1.
4. We will be introducing custom Paid & Reseller Plans and numerous other paid services under the Extras Tab on the Order Form. More details will follow closer to the time of these services getting launched.
5. All cPanel-VPS Plans, Terms of Service & Acceptable Use Policy will be completely changed and revised to follow our new provider so for now, orders have been halted and the service will resume after the provider switch.
6. As you might have noticed, our free plan has been slowly getting restricted as to what you can and cannot do. First it was the required linkback. Next it was the services withdrawl of Installatron & RV Site Builder, and now I regret to inform you that the service will be completely withdrawn for new orders as of the 14th June. Current free clients will get to keep their free hosting account up until it gets cancelled or terminated. After that, there will be no way to get another free plan with us.
7. Temporarily, when we switch providers, our main site, support board & client area will most likely all be on the one server. If you get blocked from the server, you will have to email us at: webmaster[at]plutohost[dot]net with your IP and we will then look to see why you got blocked from the server. We will also be looking into getting a new system installed for clients to search and unblock themselves and clients for when they get blocked by the firewall. Our backup site plutohost.info will also most likely be down, along with our live chat system until such a time that a home has been found for it.
