Point System in SMF Forum

SMF is an open-source forum script. I am trying to build a forum with SMF. I would like to add a point system to the forum, where users will receive points for creating posts. How do I do that?

There is a mod/plugin for it. 🙂 Just have no idea if it's updated or even being supported, then again SMF is always far behind regards their software being updated.
