Hello everyone. Today I'm listing one of my sites for sale. The site is called Petalburg Woods located at http://forums.petalburgwoods.com and runs on vBulletin 3.8. The license will be included however I should note that it's expired but still allows usage (no customer area available). The domain is currently a PR2 and registered with Namecheap set to expire 28 July 2014. Petalburg Woods was founded in 2009 and originally named The Pokémon World. Last september it was renamed Petalburg Woods.
The forum currently has 4504 threads, 73626 posts and 3110 members. Activity is good with anything from 5-20 new threads a day, and anything from 50-400 posts a day. Traffic is also good with around 500k hits over the last year.
I'll only sell to serious buyers who are interested in running a Pokémon site like this one. I'd hate to see it closed down and hoping someone is interested in taking over. If you need any more information then I can provide. Please send me any offers.

Hey guys, revenue is pretty low because I didn't do much optimisations for it. In the last year it made only £70 from Adsense. I'd like to start the bid at minimum $180-200.

Pokémon is still going really strong as a franchise, everyone is pumped for the next game release X and Y, the anime is still going on too so I'd say it's great but with a lot of competition.

Looks like a great forum with quite a bit of active members for a good price. However, I know jack about Pokemon or else I'd consider buying it. Good luck with it 😉

@Fergal, I can move and transfer to any cPanel hosting with the backup/restore functionality enabled. It does come with the license which as mentioned is expired but still working. Just so everyone knows, Linkandzelda knows a lot about Pokemon. He's also developed his own Pokemon game called Pokemon Liquid Crystal. If people have Pokemon questions, they've been known to join this forum in the past (I've been watching it for years lol). But I'm not interested in Pokemon myself hence why I'm not bidding on it. I'd highly recommend the new owner be a Pokemon fan with good background knowledge of Pokemon. If you like Pokemon games then this forum is for you. A targeted niche like this is a lot better investment than a generic forum that's too widely discussed. 😉 to the right buyer. 😎
